Tactile, rhythmic, and full of character, Flora-Hog is a 3D-printed planter that showcases the NANGS studio’s expertise in complex surface tessellation. By translating the natural defensive "quills" of a hedgehog into a repeating geometric pattern, this piece creates a striking visual contrast between its sharp, rigid exterior and the soft, organic foliage of the plants it houses. Fabricated in a warm, toasted-sand polymer, it provides a playful yet sophisticated accent for any creative workspace.

This planter is specifically optimized for small-scale succulents and cacti, where the plant's own spikes or rounded leaves become an extension of the hedgehog’s silhouette.

Design Features:

• Tessellated Quill Relief: The exterior is engineered with a series of reinforced, low-poly points that provide a unique tactile experience and a beautiful interplay of light and shadow across the surface.
